ETS Meet and Eat

Visit and enjoy École de technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), one of the most important engineering schools in Quebec. Meet researchers in biomaterials, materials and additive manufacturing in a friendly environment with food, drinks and music. Door prizes await you!

ETS is a 10-minute walk from the congress centre.

Are you a student? Are you curious about McGill? Then, sign up for the McGill mixer! After a tour of McGill University campus, you will be invited to join us at the Thompson house, the historic home of the McGill post-graduate student society. Here you will have the possibility of mingling and networking with McGill students and professors involved in biomaterials research, while enjoying food, drinks and music!

Visit Polytechnique Montreal, a unique campus at the top of Montreal’s famous Mount-Royal with cutting-edge lab facilities. Meet our professors in Biomedical Engineering and learn about Polytechnique Montreal graduate programs and post-doctoral positions.

Saturday, May 21

“Forget Science for Once” Party

This event will take place at the Société des Arts Technologiques (SAT), located in the heart of the city. Enjoy the evening at your convenience between the dance floor, a bar with Karaoke and a quiet outside terrace.

One drink ticket and food are included in the small registration fee ($10), payable through the website or at the registration desk on site if there are still spots available.

No ticket sales at the door.

There is room for 1000 people. Priority is given to students, but postdocs and investigators young at heart are welcome too!

The SAT is located at 1201 boul. Saint-Laurent. Go by yourself or follow the guides leaving the Student Corner (Viger Hall) at 19:45.

Walking directions: Exit the Palais des congrès on Viger Street and walk left. Turn left on rue Saint-Urbain. Turn right onto rue de la Gauchetiere Ouest. Turn left onto Boul. St-Laurent.
